The case starts off with the 911 phone call where patsy Ramsey says that her daughter is missing and she found a ransom note on her staircase. In the phone call she says “We have a kidnapping” which is different because she said “We” and she also ended the phone after she gave the 911 operator the information. The investigator says that he has listened to alot of 911 phone calls and it makes him wonder because usually people stay on the line because it gives them “hope” and when they end it they lose the hope. But here are some things he didn't think about,
- Not everyone acts the same when a tragic event is in action - According to the son he could here his mother freaking out and she could have been so out of it that she was acting strange - She was probably very scared.
But as they discovered pasty actually didn't end the phone and at the end of the 911 phone call there is silence but they here a man and a woman's voice. It took them away to figure out what is said so they had to blow it up and use noise reduction. They can hear a man's voice (which they think is john ramsey) say “we're not speaking to you” and they also heard patsy say “help me jesus and other things. They also heard a young boys voice say “What have you found”. They assume It was Burke Ramsey (The brother). But the problem is. Patsy and john said they Burke had nothing to do with it and he was in bed at the time. Burke also did say that which leads on to the theory that the family had committed the crime and tried to cover it up.
